  • Active operation — The organization must be actively operating and delivering education, training, or continuing education programs at the time of application. Organizations that are in a pre-launch or planning phase are not eligible to apply for IABCET accreditation
  • Defined programs — The organization must have clearly defined education or training programs that can be evaluated against the IABCET accreditation standards and criteria
  • Organizational capacity — The organization must have the administrative capacity, resources, and leadership commitment necessary to participate fully and productively in the IABCET accreditation process
  • Legal standing — The organization must be legally established and operating in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in its jurisdiction
  • Commitment to quality — The organization must demonstrate a genuine commitment to quality in its education and training programs and a willingness to engage constructively with the IABCET accreditation process

IABCET Eligibility Requirements — Institutional Accreditation

In addition to the general IABCET eligibility requirements, organizations applying for IABCET institutional accreditation must also demonstrate:

  • A clearly defined organizational mission and governance structure with identified leadership and decision-making responsibilities
  • A track record of active program delivery — organizations must have been actively delivering education or training programs for a minimum period prior to applying for institutional accreditation
  • Sufficient organizational scale and complexity to warrant institutional-level evaluation — organizations offering a single program or course may be better suited to program accreditation
  • Adequate financial resources and stability to sustain quality program delivery and support the accreditation process

IABCET Eligibility Requirements — Program Accreditation

Organizations applying for IABCET program accreditation must demonstrate that the specific program being submitted for accreditation:

  • Is a clearly defined, structured program with documented learning objectives, curriculum content, delivery methods, and assessment processes
  • Has been actively delivered to learners — programs that are still under development or have not yet been delivered are not eligible for IABCET program accreditation
  • Has sufficient learner completion data to support a meaningful evaluation of program outcomes and effectiveness
  • Is delivered by qualified instructors or facilitators with appropriate expertise in the subject area

IABCET Eligibility Requirements — Continuing Education Provider Accreditation

Organizations applying for IABCET continuing education provider accreditation must demonstrate that:

  • The organization is actively delivering CPE and CEU programs to professionals at the time of application
  • The organization has established processes for calculating, recording, and reporting CPE and CEU credits in accordance with recognized standards
  • The organization has learner record management systems capable of accurately maintaining and providing CPE and CEU records to program participants
  • The CPE and CEU programs offered are purposefully designed with clear professional development objectives and defined learning outcomes
  • The organization has the administrative capacity to manage CPE and CEU program delivery, learner records, and certification processes reliably and accurately
